Spectator Sport My New Home

The day was bright and windy, I grabbed my bag and hopped out of the car. Although this isn't my first time, I still had that
qualm feeling of moving to a new place. I was at my new house, a place where I would stay until I am done with my work as a student. Standing there in front of the door to the lobby I thought to myself, this place all looks so alien to me. I stretched my body then made way to the back of the car to help unload our things. My dad passed me bags after bags to be sent loaded up to the trolley. The lobby was brightly lighted, people were still sitting around reading their books and newspapers and minding their on business. I pushed the trolley through the lobby pass the reception and into the elevator with
decorum so that I looked friendly.
I entered through the tiny doors of the elevator along with the trolley carrying the bags and pressed the sixth floor. The elevator was playing some cheap classical music that weren't too bad . At the moment, there was feeling a bit
apprehensive as I have never seen the house before. *Ding!* The elevator doors open and quickly found the door to my new house. Without hesitation, I unlocked the door to my new home and gave myself a short tour. The place was fine, the floor was a dark brown parquet floor and the walls were white. The lighting of the house weren't that good. At the end of the living hall was that the balcony that had an fantastic view over the
grandiose Chao Praya River.

It wasn't long until my dad came barging in along with my mum ruining the silence of the house locking the doors behind them. The atmosphere changed. My parents started giving instructions to each other and then me. The house became a war zone, my family were rushing cleaning up the house as it was getting late. 2 hours into the cleaning spree and we were done. Exhausted, we decided to just sit and admire the rivers beauty and left us
satiate.
As we were settling in, we watched the sun set and the river came alive. Cruises with pretty lightings started sailing along the river, nearby buildings lighted up the night skies with colourful lightings and we could hear people singing at distance. And for a moment I seemed to have forgotten about that regretting feeling.
Just describing the first day here...no idea how to make it any more interesting like the other students...
Wow! I could nearly imagine how your new house would look like. And since my family move to the new houses very often, I could agree on your feelings you got. Your grammars were very nice and your descriptions were great. Hope you will enjoy and have fun in your new house. Very good job.(:
